Many customers often encounter coil selection problems when choosing a fluxmeter to measure magnetic materials. Because the fluxmeter needs to be matched with a coil to measure the magnetic flux of the magnet. The coil can be a single coil, a fixed B coil, or it can be equipped with Helmholtz coil.
1. Regarding the single coil, you can wind it on the sample by yourself, or make a kit larger than the sample by yourself, and pull the sample out for testing;
2. Equipped with fixed B coil test, basically each sample specification needs to be equipped with a specification test coil.
3. With Helmholtz coil for testing, a Helmholtz coil can measure samples within a certain range of sizes (the customer needs to provide the smallest sample and the largest sample size).
Fluxmeter cooperates with Hai Mholtz coil measurement is often more commonly used.
Because the fluxmeter (meter) is usually used to detect permanent magnets, the "lifting method" is usually used, and a flat coil is used for magnetized samples. The method of sleeving the magnetic flux is intuitive and effective, but the disadvantage is that for each sample of different specifications, different sizes of coils must be made. Strictly speaking, for very thin samples, the preparation of the detection coil is more difficult and laborious. Inefficient. However, using Helmholtz coils to measure magnetic flux can solve the above problems to a certain extent, so the fluxmeter uses Helmholtz coil is the best way to measure magnetic flux.
